Richard Eldon Horn

Richard Eldon Horn, 88 of Oakdale Ca. passed away on Wednesday January 23, 2019 at the Golden Age Home Care in Modesto Ca. Richard was born on January 17, 1931 in Gridley California. He was the son of the late Thomas and Nancy Ann Horn and the devoted husband to the late Wanda Horn whom he married on August 17, 1966 in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. He attended Ceres High School in Ceres, California and graduated from Modesto Junior College in Modesto California.

Richard was a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War and was employed by the George Reed Construction Company as a Labor Operations Engineer until his retirement. Richard leaves behind five nephews, Garold Shaw, Dwayne Shaw Sr., Eldon Shaw, Edward Alexander and Ricky Horn and two nieces Belinda Wara and Felicia Washington. Richard was also uncle to numerous great and great great nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by all.

Graveside services will be held on Friday February 1, 2019 at 11:00am at Lakewood Memorial Park 900 Santa Fe Avenue Hughson, California.
