Richard Leroy Lowery

Richard was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He found great joy in the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter throughout his life. He especially cherished spending time on his property, tending to his garden, caring for his fruit trees, and raising cattle. His love for the land and the simple pleasures of country life reflected the hardworking and generous spirit that defined him.

Richard is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara Lowery (née Henley); his daughter, Kristina (Gregory); grandchildren Jakob, Joshua (Paloma), Tavia (Mathew), and Natasha; great-grandchildren Ryder, Sybil, Remi, and Stetson; and his sister, Dorothy.

He was preceded in death by his son, Kirt; his daughter, Marcia; his parents, Birt and Eula Lowery; and his siblings, Marjorie, Betty, Jack, Birt Jr., and Francis.

Richard will be remembered for his love of family, his dedication to the outdoors, his strong work ethic, and the kindness he shared with those around him. His legacy lives on through the family he loved so deeply and the many memories they will forever cherish.

He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
