Bob graduated from MHS in 1960 where he was yell leader and active in band and sports. He became acquainted with Kent Whitt and a band called Kent Whitt and the clown treats was formed. They did a USO Tour and entertained troops in Alaska, Far East, and Vietnam for 5 months until May 1964. While in Vietnam both Kent, Bob, and other band members were drafted, Bob ended up back in Vietnam. Bob married his sweetheart Roni from Turlock. They married December 1965 and were married for 55 years.
Bob started work at KFIV(K5) and ended up as Program Director. He left in 1972
