Robert Harold Dorn

The family of Robert Harold Dorn is sad to announce that he passed away at the age of 70 on November 23rd at Doctor's Hospital. Robert was a loving husband, father, and friend, who will be greatly missed.

Robert was born in Grand Junction, Colorado and moved to Modesto as a teenager with his family. He is a graduate of Downey High School and San Francisco State University. After graduating college he began his career with the County of Stanislaus in the Child Welfare department, where he met his wife Beatriz. He served 30 plus years with the county helping many families and children before retiring.

Robert was passionate about fishing, science, and military history. He was preceded in death by his father Harold Dorn and his mother Lydia Martin. He is survived by his brothers Edward Dorn of Fresno, California and Donald Martin of Indiahoma, Oklahoma, wife Beatriz Dorn, his son Anthony, his son Mark and daugher in-law Maybelle, and granddaughter Sirena.

Memorial Services will be held Thursday November 29th at Lakewood Memorial Park at 11am. A memorial gathering will follow at Tresetti's Café at 927 11th Street, Modesto, CA
