Robert was born in Keene, New Hampshire on November 9, 1943 to Betty and Truett High. Robert grew up and became Bob. He served in the Air Force and after being discharged landed in Southern California where he met and married Janet LaFern Strode on January 1, 1967. In 1968 Bob received a new name, dad. Bob and Jan moved to the Central Valley where they had 2 more children. Along the way Bob found what he really wanted to pursue in life, farming, at which he was very good and found great success in. +
Bob was preceded in death by Jan in 2014 and is survived by siblings Christina Sinclair; Judy Maher, husband David; Linda McKnight, husband Ron; and Gilbert High, partner David; children Adam High, wife Jackie; Dawn Souza, husband Russell; and Truett High, wife Julie; grandchildren Austin, Julia, Drew, RJ, Megan and Jack.
Memorial services will be held at Lakewood Memorial on Thursday, August 27 at 10 am.
