Robert (Bob) passed away at his home in Ceres with his loved ones by his side, at the age of 80. He was born in Tucson, Arizona. He is predeceased by his parents Joseph Wayne and Fay Welborn, his twin brother William W. Welborn , sisters Norma Vieira and Pearl Welborn, and his great grandson Bodhi Wade.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ruth, daughters Karen (Janet) Weeks, Susan (John)Hidalgo, grandchildren, Charles B. (Shauna) Weeks IV, Robert A. (Jennifer) Vanderheiden, William W. (Amanda) Vanderheiden, Anne (Josh) Wade, John A. (Heidi) Hidalgo, Tamara L. (Paul) Veuve and 18 great grandchildren and his sister Bunny (Tom) Donalson.
Bob and his twin brother Bill owned and operated Welborn Bros. Plumbing for 28 years until he retired and farmed almonds.
He was a devoted family man who is tremendously loved and will be missed terribly.
Visitation will be Monday August 18, 2014 from 12 – 2pm followed by Funeral Services at 2:00 pm at Lakewood Memorial Park and Funeral Home in Hughson.
