Rosie peacefully passed away on October 2, 2018, surrounded by her family in Modesto, CA. She was 88 years old, born in La Pryor, Texas. A loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother who is survived by her 7 children; Danny Vasquez, Sammy Vasquez, Dora Lopez, Bernard Vasquez, Patsy Sanchez, Ricky Vasquez and Billy Vasquez and 78 grandchildren. Rosie worked at Del Monte for over twenty years and was a talented seamstress and doll maker. Rosie was loved by her family and friends. Her strong will and love for Jesus guided her throughout her life and delivered her into the Lord’s arms. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 8th from 9 to 11am with the chapel service commencing at 11am at Lakewood Funeral Home, 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA 95326. Reception immediately following. Rosie’s final resting place will be at The San Joaquin National Cemetery on Wednesday, October 10, 2018.
