Rosilyn was born in Fresno, California of Armenian immi- grant parents. She went to be with the Lord Jesus in Modesto, California. She graduated from Fresno High School in 1949 and Pacific Bible College (now Azusa Pacific University) in 1955. She and her husband, Arthur, served with the Greater Europe Mission as missionaries in Germany for eight years (1961-1969) and then in California as pastors of Free Methodist Churches for 32 years (1969-2001). In addition, Rosilyn taught in public schools for five years in California and Oregon. She worked as an Executive Assistant in two banks in San Jose and a decade for the Blood Source in Sacramento. Rosilyn and Art spent their retirement years in Folsom and Modesto.
Rosilyn is survived by her husband of 58 years, Arthur, by her children Robert (Kathy) Carl, Randall (Leila) Carl, Karin Carl Rodriguez and by eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A memorial worship service will be held in the Heritage Chapel of the Lakewood Funeral home at 900 Santa Fe Avenue in Hughson, California on Friday, May 30, 2014 at 11am. Burial in the Lakewood Memorial Park will precede the service by an hour and is open to all.
