Samuel David Rivas

Samuel was born on January 29, 1952 to parents Arthur Joseph and Virginia Cabrera Padilla Rivas. After graduating from High School and attending some college, Samuel began his career in the wine business, devoting over 20 years to the industry.

Samuel was an avid sports lover, and especially enjoyed baseball. His favorite team was the Los Angeles Dodgers, and went to the Dodger Spring Training in Arizona six times. During the off-season, Samuel spent his free time gardening at home, collecting baseball cards, and spending time with the love of his life Rosalie.

Samuel is survived by wife Rosalie Rivas; children Reginald Rivas (Julie), Stefanie Ariza (Adan), and Ryan Rivas (Christine); grandchildren Brittany, Trevor, Logan, Henley, Nolan, Brielle, and Hudson; and brothers Daniel Rivas and Joe Rivas.

He is preceded in passing by his parents Arthur J. Rivas and Virginia C. Rivas, and sister Nancy Skaggs.

The family will be having a private service for Samuel. Samuel will be laid to rest at Lakewood Memorial Park, located at 900 Santa Fe Avenue in Hughson, CA.
