Savita Devi Mahabir peacefully passed away on Jan. 2, 2016. She was born in the Fiji Islands. Savita, also lovingly known as Lalli, is survived by sisters Gaitri D. Datt, Roshni Singh, and Sadhna D. Kumar, brother Kamal K. Mahabir, adopted daughter Maushumi Lata, and her many neices and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father Mahabir, mother Suruj Mahabir, and brothers Bhagwat Prasad Vishwas Mahabir. Funeral services will be held at the Lakewood Funeral Home in the Heritage Chapel on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 10:00am.
