She was born August 7, 1936, and lived most of her life in Ceres and Modesto. She attended both Modesto High School and Ceres High School, where she graduated with the Class of 1954.
She worked for several years at Ceres Drug Store and finished her working life at Don Pedro Elementary School, as the School Secretary, the same school where she volunteered for many years while her daughters attended there.
She was an avid bowler for many years, winning trophies at Divine Gardens in Turlock. She loved the cool air of the coast, and took trips there for many years. She managed the Turlock office for Clare Berryhill when he ran for the State Assembly the first time. That culminated in meeting then-Governor Ronald Reagan, a high point. She loved the Los Angeles Dodgers, and saw both Sandy Koufax and Don Drysdale pitch at Dodger Stadium.

She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Karen Curci and Robert Smith, daughter Jennifer Curci, and daughter Anna Curci; grandchildren Connor Kirk, Emma Kirk, James Curci, Aaron Curci, Joshua Curci, and Olivia Curci; brother and sister-in-law Ray and Barbara Wilson.
