Stella Marie Grove, 96, passed away Wednesday, August 24th at Orangeburg Manor in Modesto. Stella was born February 7th, 1920 in East St. Louis, IL. Her husband, William, and her son, Bill preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter Susan (Jim), her grandchildren Tom Bateman (Vickie), Diana McDonald (Tim), and Angie Thompson (Tim), 9 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. She was a member of North Modesto Church of God.
Stella will be laid to rest during a graveside service at Lakewood Memorial Park - 900 Santa Fe Ave., Hughson, CA (Peacevale Gardens) on Monday, Aug. 29, at 10:00 a.m. Family and friends are invited to attend.
