It's not so much a memory, but something still that I felt worthy of sharing; On my way to Stephanie's funeral, a song on the radio began to play that I had never heard  before. It was a song by Alabama, called "Angel's Among Us" I thought, "how accurate and fitting" it was to hear that song while pulling into her funeral. Today on my way to work I started crying while thinking of her. As I pulled into work, grieving her loss, that same song came on in my car. I was in disbelief. I sat in my car and listened to it, and it made me feel like she was with me, she knew I was thinking of her, and she was comforting me. 

Stephanie and I worked together for many years in the PACU at Emanuel.  Not only was she a colleague, but also a very good friend.  I will miss her dearly.  

Stephanie may you rest in our Lords hands I will miss you my friend 😢 you leave a beautiful family behind my God be with them.


Stephanie was my dear friend. We worked together at DHM.  I really don’t know how to say it , but Stephanie was a Angel.  We were both RNs in the surgery department. Stephanie had an smile that drew staff and patients in. As a friend she was beautiful  warm  and genuine. As a nurse she treated her patients as though they were family. I’m soo sad that I will never see her again. She often spoke about her family as we were bringing up her patients to there rooms after surgery in the late nights on call. . She had so Many wonderful things to say about her husband and her beautiful children. I just want to scream  “this is not fair. “ How can this beautiful friend be gone.  I want the family to  know.” I am so sorry for your loss. “This Angle is now in heaven. I pray  that we will all meet again. I love you Stephanie, Tonya BowlsbyRN

I will always remember the great times we had scrapbooking. Her laughter, her great hugs but most of all her beautiful smile. I will miss her always 😢💔

Stephanie had a heart of gold, and was so funny. She loved scrapbooking pictures of her her family. We did lots of crops and retreats. We shared lots of stories, and lots of laughs. Us girls would always aske her about any ailments that we had. She was our personal nurse. She will truly missed and was loved by her gal pals.
