Sue Atkins

May 5, 1937 - April 20,2025

Sue passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 20, 2025, at the age of 87. Sue was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend whose life was defined by love and kindness. Sue's love for her family knew no bounds, and her legacy of warmth and compassion will live on in our hearts forever. Sue was always making us laugh and made all of us feel special. My mom loved gardening, shopping and going to Carmel and Black Oak with my Dad Roy, who she missed immensely since his passing. I know that they are holding hands in heaven at this very moment and in peace now.

Sue was preceded in death by her devoted husband Roy Atkins, her mother Elizabeth Cotter, father Paul Cotter and sister Nancy Hicks. She is survived by her daughter Robin Sauls, and son-in-law, Kenny Sauls, along with her cherished grandchildren Christopher Sauls and Shelby Sauls and great-grandson Kayson Sauls. Sues grandchildren were so important to her and she would do anything for them. She was always there for us and we are so thankful for all the fabulous memories we were able to make with my parents. They honestly were the best parents and grandparents anyone could wish for. We miss them but know we will be together again someday.

A private family service will be held in her honor. Sue will be deeply missed, but her spirit will remain with us forever.
