Marina, California - On May 19, 1955, Susan Lee Keirn Gordo was born in Oakdale, California to Ruth and Bill Keirn. On April 18, 2025 Susan passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Susan is survived by her son, Paul; her sister, Peggy Keirn (Connie); her husband, Steve; several cousins; and a loving extended family, including the Graham and Keirn families.
Susan attended John Muir Elementary, La Loma Junior High, Thomas Downey High School, and Modesto Junior College. She was most proud of being an Honored Queen of Bethel 42 of Job's Daughters.
Susan was married to Steve in September of 1995. She gave birth to their only son, Paul, in 1997. Susan was a loving, devoted daughter, sister, friend, wife, and mother. She was a telephone operator for Pacific Bell, a clerk with Modesto City Schools, and a classroom aide in both Ceres Unified and Waterford Unified school districts.
Susan fought 3 bouts of cancer and a rare neurological disorder Adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD), which mimics Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
Susan will be dearly missed. She is a shining example of faith, hope, and love.

Funeral:
Officiated by Pastor Rick Thompson of Big Valley Grace Community Church of Modesto; Yvonne Thompson will provide keyboard accompaniment for the chapel service; George Harcrow will play the bagpipes following.
The Heritage Chapel service begins at 11:00 a.m. with a Celebration of Life (Wake) with food and refreshments catered by The Fruit Yard to follow immediately from 12:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m., Saturday, May 10, Lakewood Memorial Park, Hughson, CA.
