Teresa will be remembered for her kind heart, generous spirit, and unselfish soul. She found great joy in thrifting, gardening, and going the extra mile to help others. Her warm smile and caring nature made every gathering feel special.
Teresa also had a vibrant personality that would make people laugh. Her laughter and love of life created lasting memories that will be cherished by all who knew her.
Teresa had hopes to open her own antique shop, inspired by her love for thrifting and estate sales. Her empathy, humility, confidence, and independence reflected the values she lived by each day.
Teresa's legacy of endless love, faith, generosity, and joy will continue to live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched. She was a wonderful wife and devoted mother. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
Teresa is Survived by her loving and caring spouse Jesse Tovar and 2 wonderful children Alyssa and Evan Tovar. She was predeceased by Rojelio Arauza.
A visitation will be held on Monday, August 17, 2026, at Lakewood Funeral Home from 4:00pm - 8:00pm with a Rosary beginning at 5:45pm. on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church 1813 Oakdale Rd, Modesto, CA 95355 at 10:00am. Following the conclusion of Mass a burial will take place at Lakewood Memorial Park 900 Santa Fe Ave Hughson, CA 95326.
