Terry Steven Johnson II

Terry Steven Johnson II, age 45, of Modesto, California, passed away on July 21, 2026.

Terry was born on March 1, 1981, in Oakdale, California. He graduated from Johansen High School and built a career as a certified welder. He started working at Gallo Glass in the early 2000s, then later began a career as a welder. Regardless of his profession, he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication.

Terry had a passion for the outdoors and loved spending time waterskiing and snowboarding. He enjoyed woodworking, working on cars, and could often be found building, fixing, or creating something. He was also a proud member of the Clampers, where he shared many memorable experiences with good friends.

Above all, Terry cherished his family. He is survived by his children, Tyler Steven Johnson, Landon Ray Johnson, Terry Steven Johnson III, Ava Lynn Hegwood-Johnson, and Bailey Rayne Johnson. He is also survived by his brother, Brannon Johnson; his parents, Terry S. Johnson, and Sheila (Derwin) Yee; along with many extended family members, friends, and loved ones who will deeply miss him.

Terry was preceded in death by his grandparents, Nancy Shanks, Raymond Parsons, Rose Johnson, and Ray Johnson.

A Celebration of Life for Terry will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. at the Celebration Center, 945 McHenry Avenue, Modesto, CA 95350.

Terry’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Please keep his family in your prayers during this difficult time.
