Timothy Alvin Hawkins was born on June 19, 1951 and passed away on January 23, 2015 at the age of 63. He was the most kind and loving person to all that have known him. He spent his life as a proud soccer coach, creator of beautiful homes, and friend to many.
Most of all, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, & brother. Those in his family will deeply miss his quiet presence. He would give you anything you needed, even if it was his last possession. He would help, even if he was the one who needed it.
In his recent years, he was happy and healthy, excited that he was able to do more than in the past. He was spending many of his days golfing, traveling to see he grandchildren's activities, keeping active in his kid's lives, enjoying vacations with them, and even put his snow skis back on to spend a day on the slopes with his grandkids. He and his wife loved and cared for each other very much. Most could only dream of the simple and meaningful life that they had together.
He is survived by his wife Aida, his children Travis (Janelle), Tyler, Troy, & Traci, his grandchildren Aiden, Leila, Gavin, & Lily, his brother Jay and many others that are proud to call him family. He will be in our hearts forever.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 30th at 1PM in the Heritage Chapel at Lakewood Funeral Home at 900 Santa Fe Avenue, Hughson, CA with viewing the day prior (Thursday) at the same location from 4-8PM.
All that called him family or friend and shared any part of their life with him are welcome. A celebration of life will follow the services at the Elks Lodge, 625 Charity Way in Modesto at 3PM to 7PM.
