Todd Lyndel Mendenhall

Todd L. Mendenhall was born in Turlock, CA to Thomas and Jackie Mendenhall and brought home to Hughson, CA where he was raised. Todd attended all Hughson primary schools and graduated from Hughson High School in 1983. During his time at Hughson High School, Todd had a passion for athletics, where he earned his twelve sports awards, and felt at home in automotive and agricultural classes. Todd lived in Hughson until he met the love of his life, Sanya, and eight months later they were married. The two started their lives together in Waterford, CA where they raised their sons, Brock and Blaize. When Todd was not working he enjoyed spending his time in the great outdoors. He had a love for hunting, snow skiing, water skiing, and camping with family and friends both in the mountains and at the lake. Todd believed in working hard. Because of his work ethic and support of his wife, he was able to start and maintain his electrical contracting business solely based on his reputation. Through the success of their business, they discovered a love to explore and travel with their family and friends. Todd wore several different hats ranging from husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, to employer and coach. Each of us will greatly miss him, but he will always be remembered by the memories he helped us create.

Todd is survived by his wife Sanya, his son Brock, his son and daughter-in-law, Blaize and Tracie, his mother Jackie, his brothers; Thomas, Norman, Ronnie, his twin sister Tiffany, and his in-laws Darryl and Anita Shakeshaft. He is preceded in death by his father Thomas.

A viewing for Todd will be held at Lakewood Memorial Park and Funeral Home Tuesday, February 28th from 4:00 P.M. – 7:30 P.M. located at 900 Santa Fe Ave., Hughson, CA 95326. A service in honor of Todd to follow the next day Wednesday, March 1st starting at 11:00 A.M. will be held at Big Valley Grace Community Church located at 4040 Tully Rd., Modesto, CA 95356 with reception to follow.
