Aunt Tommie was a wonderful, amazing woman. I had the privilege of getting close to her these past two years and spoke with her often. She always told me old family stories and I'd love to listen. She could make anyone laugh and have a good time. She gave me great advise which I will cherish forever. Thank you Aunt Tommie for being a great aunt to me and being there when I needed you. I love you and miss you.

I miss you with all my heart.  35 years of friendship that barely we missed a week that we didn't talk or see each other. Its so funny Tee I have soo many things to say yet there is NO words but I am glad you are painless now and enjoying your family again. I love you.  My love to you Misty and Jimmy Joe too!!!!

This is so unreal to me, I can't even begin to imagine how hard it is for you Misty, Jimmy Joe and Rick. I had started a "very" long message to put on here but I just decided to sum it all up by saying, I can hear T's laugh in my head as if she were here with me right now. Her laugh is so infectious that maybe if you can focus on it in your minds as well, it may help ease your saddness a little. I love all of you and am so blessed to have your mom in my life and to have been loved by her. She was a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember....I love you guys.

I have known Tommy Jean since we were kids and her father preached at a little church on Terminal ave in Riverbank around 1950. Through the years we have kept in touch, sometimes it would be years between but good friends never lose touch. You just pick up the phone and it on again, she was such a fun loving person, my last conversation was about Charlene, we talked for hours catching up. I loved you old friend,we had so much fun togather over the years.  now you are with GOD and with your parents and family and friends, I will see you again. GOD BLESS HER CHILDREN. SHE WILL BE MISSED.

I think I could spend days on end talking to Aunt Tommie... we just NEVER ran out of stuff to talk about, yet I feel that I STILL have a lot I wanted to say and talk about with her. She always made me feel better about everything and was ALWAYS positive.  I am so very sorry for your loss Jimmy and Misty.  I am feeling the loss with you.  Rest in peace Aunt Tommie.  I miss you, but I am so happy to know I will get to see you again some day!  Miss and love you!

Aunt Tommie was a lot like a candle....she carried her own special light....that brightened my world more times than I could count. I am a better person for having known and loved her!

Tommie Jean was so special to me, as I was named after her! She was a wonderful Aunt; always there when I needed someone the most and could encourage me and help me find the positive side to any situation. I will miss her more than any words can say, but I know we will be together again with a huge family circle someday! My love and prayers are with Jimmy and Misty and their families..Tommie will always be alive in our hearts and we are blessed people for having known her ...and her loving ways.

I don't think I ever seen Tommie when she was not laughing and smiling. My Dad, Herman, adored her and they used to have great conversations contemplating life. She always called him Uncle Herman. Our thoughts and prayers are with her children, who she spoke of often, and her family!

Tommie was a wonderful woman. Always smiling and could light up any room with her laughter. She had an amazing spirit and my heart goes out to Misty and Jim who lost a wonderful mother. Just remember that even though she is not here with us she is always alive in our hearts as we remember the laughter she left and the love she shared. I will always remember her as the woman who would always ask how my children were and was always making sure they were ok as if they were her own grandkids. She will be truly missed .
