Tony dedicated more than 40 years of his life to working at Libbey-Owens-Ford, where he was known for his commitment and strong work ethic.
Tony enjoyed fishing and traveling with his late beloved wife, Thelma. He especially enjoyed being around people and reminiscing about childhood memories and growing up in the Boggs Tract neighborhood. Tony was knowledgeable in many areas and was always willing to share what he knew with others.
Those who knew Tony will remember him as a very giving, kind, and likeable person. He was well respected by those around him and was always willing to lend a helping hand. His friendly nature and willingness to help others left a lasting impression on the people who had the privilege of knowing him.
Tony was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Thelma Castello; his parents, Fred and Lorenza Costello; and his siblings, Benjamin Castillo, Margaret Chavez, Carmelita Costello, Fred Jr. Castillo, Mary Hobson, and Henry Castillo.
He is survived by his brother, Arthur Castello; and his sisters, Kathy McPheeters and Linda Caranza.
Tony will be remembered for his generous spirit, his stories and memories, his love of family and friends, and the many ways he was there to help others. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
