she died peacefully on April 22, 2017. She is survived by siblings: Hazel Decker, Iowa, Alice French, Modesto.
Children: Roger Smith, Modesto, Barbara Keeler, Elk Grove, Richard Smith, Virginia, Jerry Smith,
Idaho, Gail Renfro-Wright, Nevada. 13 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 22 great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold Smith. Vera was active in her church,
worked for Waterford elementary was a fantastic baker, and seamstress. She was a loving wife, sister,
mother, grandmother and loyal friend. She was loved by all who knew her and will be deeply missed.
Services are planned for Friday, April 28, 2017, at 2pm, at Lakewood Funeral Home, Hughson.
Visitation from 4-6 pm on Thursday, April 27.
