In loving memory of Victoria Hernandez Castro who at the age of 86 went Home to be with the Lord and to join her husband Sabino Castro. Victoria was born in Guerrero, Mexico where she got married and had 5 daughters: Hilda, Kati, Martha, Susy and Zoyla, and a son, Saul. She is survived by her two sisters, Celia and Agueda and many grand-children and great-grand-children.
She became a widow at an early age but managed to bring her children to the USA for a better life. Victoria worked hard to provide for her family. She worked as a farm laborer, then went on to work for Tri-Valley Growers PL#7 for 30 years then retired. Victoria was, founder/member at El BuenSamaritano Church. She helped in fund raisers for the church; she enjoyed singing in the church as well. Victoria was well known for her delicious home made tamales and chile relleno burritos. She enjoyed cooking, sowing, gardening and singing her Christian songs. She devoted time to pray and read her bible.

Funeral services will be held at Lakewood Memorial Park and Funeral Home Riverside Chapel , 900 Santa Fe Ave. Hughson 95326. Visitation is on Friday, Jan. 10th from 4-8:00pm. Chapel service is on Saturday, Jan 11th at 11:00am .
