My sister Victoria Zamora was born on March 1st, 1957, she was the third child in our group of 6 children in total.
Since she was the eldest daughter, our mother depended on her for a lot. She was very popular in high school and was crowned Princess for GI Forum and our brother Sal was her escort.
She loved music, hanging out with friends, a bit BOY CRAZY, and would always say "I'm the wild one in the bunch!"
Vicky went on to marry Jose Luna and had two beautiful boys, Joey and Anthony Luna. Joey had dark hair and dark eyes, while Anthony has light eyes and is fair in complexion. She would call them her "Cafe y Leche" which means her coffee and milk.
She loved to travel, especially to the beaches. She loved riding motorcycles and listening to oldies. Her home was her showcase. Always clean and she was forever re-decorating regarding the season we were in. She loved getting together with her friends and hosting craft parties.
She met the love of her life, Perry, and spent 17 years with him. She lived her life to the fullest and always moving forward. She was like the Energizer Bunny. She just kept going and going!
She may be gone now but she lives in everyone's heart and memories.
See you later Vicky.
