William (Bill) entered heaven peacefully on Thursday, Oct. 4, surrounded by his family. He was born in Eaton, Co. to William and Ann Coppedge. He was a hardworking, compassionate, loving man. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, watching his western's, spending time with his family, and telling his many jokes that will so fondly be repeated. He graduated from Fresno State College with a BA in business, and served in the United States Air Force. He was the founder of Modern Steel Structures, where he retired after more than 50 years. He was married to the love of his life, Donna, for 62 wonderful years. He is survived by his wife, Donna, and their three children Tim (Kelly) Coppedge, Tami Postma, Heide (Wendel) Trinkler, 10 grandchildren, Ryan (Krystal), Jonathon (Amie), LeeAna (John), Dawna (Jon), Blake (Tiffany), Jack (Angie), Dana (Cody), Patrick, Will, Sophia, and 18 great grandchildren. His sister Jan Brown of Oregon and sister Cheryl (Augie) Caldera of Clovis. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
A visitation will be held at Lakewood Memorial Park, Riverside Chapel, 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA 95326 on Thursday, October 11 at 10:00 am, followed by a graveside memorial at 11:00 am, Hill Crest Park.
