William Ross Corey

Born on May 7, 1941, William lived a life full of kindness, laughter, and love. He was a devoted husband to Lilian Corey, with whom he shared many cherished years, and a father to three children: Bill Corey, Shellie Santos, and Teresa Corey.

William’s also leaves behind his five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren—with two more on the way. He adored spending time with his grandkids whenever he could, creating lasting memories, stories, and love.

William was a man of many passions. He proudly supported the San Francisco 49ers, the Giants, the Golden State Warriors, and even the Boston Celtics. He loved the ocean and the mountains, often finding peace and joy in nature. Traveling was one of his greatest pleasures; one of his most recent adventures was a meaningful trip to Memphis, Tennessee, where he fulfilled a lifelong dream of visiting Elvis Presley’s Graceland mansion. He also enjoyed trips to Reno, where he found excitement and entertainment in the casinos.

Services to honor William’s life will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Lakewood Funeral Home Riverside Chapel. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by a Funeral service at 12:00 PM, with interment to follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.

William Ross Corey will be deeply missed, but his legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the memories he leaves behind.
