

Willie was born to Benjamin & Mary Holland, in Booneville, Arkansas, He married Lillian R. Black in 1941. Together they had 5 children. He had 20 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. He served in the Army Air Core for 39 months mostly in Europe in the chemical warfare division. He worked for Gallo Winery for 37 years and was a long time member of Calvary Temple in Modesto. He was very active in his church as a Deacon, a Board Member, Sunday school teacher, Royal Rangers Commander and for 10 years he held a weekly bible study for a nursing home. After the death of his first wife Lillian of 55 years, he met and married Mary Reed. They were married for 14 ½ years until her death. He is survived by his children Pat (Don) Hamilton, Ann (Leroy) Clevenger, Pam (Ed) Andrade, Jeff (Tina) Holland and Lavonda (Roger) Lassiter, brother Bob Holland, sister Wanda Daniels, 6 step-children, numerous step-grandchildren and numerous step-great grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank Bethel Assisted Living for the wonderful care and love dad received for 8 plus years and Optimal Hospice for their wonderful care in his final week. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Optimal Hospice and the Alzheimer’s Association. Family and friends will gather for a viewing Friday, January 20, from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Lakewood Funeral Home – Heritage Chapel and on Saturday, January 21, at 10:00 a.m. for the funeral.
