I spent quite a bit of time at the Girard home when I was growing up. Sindie was my best friend. Wilma always opened her arms and her home to me.  When things got stressful at my home, she gave me a comforting place to go to. I loved to hear her laugh, it would make me giggle. She was a wonderful mom, and she is missed.

My heart goes out to my California cousins on the loss of their parents. Our prayers have been with you for the past three months.  Aunt Billie and Uncle Fred were always so nice when they came to Iowa to visit dad (Aunt Billie’s brother) and Grandma (their Mom.) I loved hearing Uncle Fred’s stories.
I can’t imagine the pain and grief you all are experiencing, but my prayers and thoughts have been with you.  May you have comfort and peace in the days ahead.

So sorry for the loss of my Aunt Billie and the loss of my Uncle Fred nine week prior.

I'll always have fond memories of their stops in Arizona to visit with my Mom (Betty), Dad (Alvin), and their other Arizona family.
 
And I'll always have fond memories of our stops in Modesto with my Mom and Dad and later in life with my wife (Vicki). Vicki and I would often reminisce about how we would meet them both and talk for hours at local restaurants in Modesto.

My heart goes out to Sindie, Mike, Susan and Tom for the loss of your loving parents and for having to now sort through decades of memories.  Continue to stay strong, stay well, and support family. Love to you all!

Our deepest condolences on the passing of your mom.  All the time I spent over at the house growing up - she always treated me as one of her own.  Both she and your dad were fun to be around.  You guys are in my heart and prayers.
