Zachary Scott Fairbanks

Zachary Scott Fairbanks, 18 of Modesto, died June 3, 2015 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Zachary was born to Lisa Harris Carson and Keith Fairbanks on Saturday, July 27, 1996 in Fresno, California. He attended Beyer High School, Elliot Education Center and was looking forward to starting his enrollment in, "Come Back Kids" to earn his High School Diploma. Zack is survived by his mother, Lisa Harris Carson of Modesto, father Keith Fairbanks of Washington, brothers: Wade Carson and Nicolas Carson of Modesto and sister, Amanda Hoover of Modesto, Maternal grandparents, Mary (Melvin) Harris of Modesto, paternal grandmother, Sharon Fairbanks of Washington, aunts and uncles: Steve and Cindy Harris of Murrieta, John and Kristina Alameda, Andy and Diana Perez all of Modesto, Sharon Gonzales and Robin R. Fairbanks of Washington and Steve Fairbanks of Oregon. Zack also leaves behind several cousins and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Cassandra Fairbanks.

Zack loved doing many outdoor activities such as fishing and rafting in the river. He was very adventurous, outgoing and never afraid to try anything new. He enjoyed experimenting with BBQ recipes that he could cook up with his friends at the park. We will always remember his infectious smile and his loving and caring personality. Zachary was a friend to anyone that he met.

Funeral services will be held at Lakewood Memorial Park and Funeral Home in Hughson Ca. Visitation in the Riverside Chapel on Thursday, June 11th from 4-8:00pm. Chapel service in the Riverside Chapel on Friday, June 12th at 1:00pm.
