Louise, there are no words to describe how deeply sorry I am for the loss of your precious daughter. I have been blessed to have known her and to see her become a beautiful and strong young lady.Although you and I have been separated by different path choices, you and Julie have and will always remain in my heart and in my prayers. The latest memory I have of you is the time you came by my desk to say goodbye at the end of the day (which you kindly and often did). I was playing some Barrio Latino music and you started dancing salsa with Paul, Gina and I by my tiny cubicle. It was spontaneous, fun and so lovely to see your carefree spirit flickering and flowing with music - It made everyone else want to get up and dance too. That is one of your many qualities that I was fortunate to experience in our short year together. You reached people with such ease and gentleness...

Even though you are no longer physically here, your kind soul has and still touches our hearts. Bright light, keep flickering where ever you are.

To Julie's family and friends: Thank you for helping shape her into the beautiful person she was. It was a delight knowing her. As she continues her journey elsewhere, all of those little parts of you in her have also gone… Take the time you need to heal and I wish you all a lot of love.

I still can't believe that she has passed away at such a young age. Her energy and beautiful smile will be missed.

Julie, we all miss you profoundly. I miss our daily banters and your beautiful smile that always made me feel good when I was down. However, even to death I know that we will never really lose you because you will always leave an indelible imprint in our memories. My brother didn't have any children, but was an uncle to many, including your beautiful "Julie".  I will be out of town this week, however, you will all be in my thoughts.  Its really hard to understand why our loves ones leave us, however, they are never far from us.  They give us little signs here and there and when you look at the sky at night, one extra star is shining bright.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
