Luc Favarger

Quittant sa Suisse natale, Luc a été missionnaire chrétien pour 17 ans en Guyanne Anglaise. Pendant ce temps, il a marié sa chère épouse Elisabeth (Trudy). Ils ont ensuite déménagé au Canada et continué de servir Dieu fidèlement au Canada français et divers endroits en Amérique du Nord. Pendant cette période, il a aussi fait quelques voyages en Guyanne, en Afrique et à Haïti.

Pour plusieurs années, Luc était actif sur le conseil d’administration de la librairie Le Messager Chrétien, située à Gatineau Québec. Il a aussi beaucoup participé à la publication l’Étoile du Matin et d’autres projets. Il était un collaborateur loyal et un conseiller apprécié.

Il était le fils de feu : Jacques Rodolphe Everard Favarger et de feu : Cornelia Favarger (née Voorhoeve)

et l’époux de : Elisabeth Favarger (née Neumeyer)

Il laisse dans le deuil son fils : Philip Favarger (épouse Athéna Manganas)

Sa sœur : Ruth Neuenschwander (née Favarger), belles-soeurs : Ruth Favarger, Micheline Favarger, Hélène Favarger, Charlotte Abadeer (mari Samir), Jan Rychel

Description : After leaving his native Switzerland, Luc was a Christian missionary for 17 years in Guyana. During that time, he married his dear wife Elisabeth (Trudy). They later moved to Canada and continued to serve God faithfully in French-speaking Canada and various locations in North America. During that time, he also travelled occasionally to Guyana, Africa and Haïti.

For many years, Luc was active on the board of the French bookstore, Le Messager Chretien, located in Gatineau Quebec. He also participated immensely with the French publication Etoile du Matin, and other projects. He was a loyal collaborator and a valuable advisor.

He was the son of the late: Jacques Rodolphe Everard Favarger and the late : Cornelia Favarger (born Voorhoeve)

And the husband of : Elisabeth Favarger (born Neumeyer)

He leaves behind his son : Philip Favarger (wife Athéna Manganas)

His sister : Ruth Neuenschwander (born Favarger), sisters in law : Ruth Favarger, Micheline Favarger, Hélène Favarger, Charlotte Abadeer (husband Samir), Jan Rychel
