Fatima (Maria) Coutinho (de Jesus) passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at the age of 91. She was born in Terceira (Portugal) and immigrated to Canada in 1960 with her husband and son, where she built a meaningful life for herself and her family.
She dedicated her time and energy to build cultural connections and strengthen bonds within her community. She is predeceased by her loving husband Miguel Coutinho and is survived by her devoted son Paul, cherished grandson Keith and her precious great grandchildren Carter and Clara Coutinho. Her vibrant spirit and unwavering dedication left a lasting impact on those around her and her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, February 13 from 5pm-9pm at the Maison Funeraire Racine, Robert and Gauthier Beauchamp on 271 boulevard St-Joseph. A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, February 14 from 11am-12pm at Mission Portugaise du Notre-Dame-de-Fatima on 42 Hanson Street followed by interment at Saint Redempteur Cemetery on 25 Bd de la Cité-des-Jeunes.
