Peter Maxsom

Peter passed away suddenly at his home in Aylmer, Québec on July 24, 2023 at the age of 72. Peter was born on November 13, 1950 to the late Linden Maxsom and late Mary Dubé. The oldest of four children, Linda Maxsom-Strickland (Dan), JoAnna Perley and the late Robert “Robbie” Maxsom. Father to Timothy (Heather), Christopher (Amber) and Jennifer (Troy). Survived by the mother of his children, Sandra Karlsen, as well as many relatives and friends.

Peter was well known in Aylmer as a landscaper for residences, school bus driver with Baie Transport for 40 years and past caretaker for Bellevue/St-James cemeteries. Peter was very active and would regularly be enjoying the outdoors, visiting senior homes, driving seniors to medical appointments and rendering his floral gardens.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Bellevue Cemetery at a later date. Donations can be made in his honour to Bellevue Cemetery.
