Loving mother to Ann, Karen, Cathy, and Lisa, and fondly remembered by her sons-in-law Dean, Peter and Ben.
Her greatest joy was being a grandmother to Isaac (Sydney), Julia, Claudia, Jude, Anna, Olivia, Clara, Abram, and Hallie who will forever cherish many fond memories of their time with grandma.
A lifelong learner and teacher, our mom’s passion for education and generosity shaped every chapter of her life.
She found immense joy in playing the piano, reading, breakfast with family, cheering on the Ottawa Sens, the many family trips to PEI, and her valued friendship with her cousin Ann Ferrigan.
Grounded in her faith, our mom devoted her life to serving others with compassion and grace. Her spirit and kindness will live on in all those whose lives she touched.
The family will receive condolences at St. Mark Catholic Church, 160 rue Principale , Aylmer, on Thursday, May 14th, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at 1:00 p.m. A reception will follow from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at L'initial Residences, piano room, 300 boul. Wilfrid-Lavigne.
In lieu of flowers, donations in mom’s memory can be made to Centre Alimentaire Aylmer Food Centre, 67 rue du Couvent, Gatineau, QC, J9H 6A2, a cause close to her heart, where she dedicated every December to La Gignolée food drive, working tirelessly to support those in need.
