William “Bill” Watt

Bill was born in Grand-Mère QC. After attending school at Philemon Wright and Algonquin College, Bill went on to work for Nordair, Canadian, and Air Canada and retired after a 42 year career. Bill loved reading, travel, darts, and adventuring including those with his lifelong friend Marc Gagnon. He was also an avid cyclist for many years while living in Lachine. Bill spoke fondly of his time working at the airlines, including his time working in the far North.

Bill was preceded in death by his father William Edward Watt and mother Madeleine Bordeleau. Bill is survived by his brothers Keith, Gary (Brandon, Jared), and Greg (Tracey, Sophie), and sister Diane (Richard, Stéphane, Josée, and cherished God-daughter Joanne).

A celebration of life will be held to honour Bill on January 18, 2025 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM at Maison Funéraire Racine, Robert & Gauthier Beauchamp Funeral Home, 271 Blvd St-Joseph, Gatineau.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the NDP.

The family wishes to thank Château Symmes in Aylmer and the ICU unit at the Hull hospital who cared for Bill in his final days. Bill was a kind and gentle man and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
