Aghdas Mohajeri was born in Iran in December of 1931 and lived in Tehran through 1985 when her beloved husband passed away at which time she moved to U.S. and lived with her son Fred in Tampa, Florida. She never remarried and devoted her life to her children and grandchildren.
She moved to Houston in 2008 where she lived near her daughter where at age of 91 after a brief illness she passed away on March 22, 2023.
She loved cooking, sharing her recipes, fresh flowers, catching up with family and friends, reading, brisk walks, Game shows and of course Two and a Half men. The simplest pleasures in life brought her great joy and she was always so kind and generous to everyone she met. She had an infectious laughter and didn’t want anyone to be sad but rather celebrate the life she lived to the end.
She is lovingly remembered by her sisters Farkhondeh, Effat and Brother Farshid. Her children, Farhad, Kamran, Fred and Farrah, her daughters in law, Sima, Parizad and Karen, and her son in law, Bijan as well as her beloved grandchildren, Payam, Elham, Mojdeh, Kamyar, Azadeh, Tyler and Dustin.
A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered, she will live on forever in our hearts.
A funeral service will occur Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX. A committal service will occur Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 21723 Aldine Westfield Rd, Humble, TX.
