

She is survived by the Loves of her life, her husband of 30 years Ruben Cervantes, Son Jacob Mathew Cervantes and wife Joanna; sister Lisa Anne Flores, brothers Edward Flores Jr., Michael Flores, Randle Garza;father-law Damasio Cervantes, mother-in-law Janie Franco and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her stepfather(who she lovingly called "Dad"), sister Tina Yvette Flores, grandparents Salvador and Mary Lillian Avila, Rudolfo Serrato, grandparents Gilbert and Guadalupe Flores aunt Leticia Marie Ruiz, and stepbrother Bryan Garza.
Angela graduated from Sam Houston High School in Houston in 1986. Was an honor student an a member of the National Honor Society and of the ROTC. Her first job was at Thrifty Groceries where her boss Sam Colletti to become store manager. In addition, she worked nights at The Marriot Hotel Greenspoint as a PBX operator. Also went to work as a bank teller at First Interstate. Although she loved working she later transitioned into being a full time stay at home mom which would end up being her favorite job of all time. After her sons birth she wanted to be able to raise her son and be with him all the time. She said"I want my face to be the first face my son sees when he walks out the school door or any door everyday". She was an amazing woman, wife, mother, daughter blessed many God given gifts, talents and skillsets. Angela's creativity had no boundaries. She would make anything from nothing. She could transform And old boring hat into a piece of art.Her ability to create crafts, decorations, center pieces,etcs,always resulted in a premium finish. She took pride in making high quality items for a low price. She would say why buy it when I can make it at home. Her home was her sanctuary, always clean, organized, but most of all decorated. She loved holidays, especially Christmas. Her home at christmas looked like a Hallmark movie. She was an excellent cook always trying new recipes and a party host.Always made sure there was plenty food for everyone. She was an amazing woman who loved God with all her heart and prayed for family. Affectionately known by many "Nina" She will be forever missed and loved. She loved reading books, playing board games, word games, coloring games on her phone and her tablet. She loved scary movies, watching novelas with her mom, dressing up for halloween, loved singing, watching Netfix. She loved listening to Tejano music especially Emilio and Ram and Elvis. She loved life.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Rebecca Contreras, RN, who guided her in preparation for living a life with dialysis. To the Tomball devida staff and techs who not only did her treatments 3 times a weeks for 10 years but became her friends and she considered them family. To the Deerbrook Devida Staff and Techs who took care of her 3 days a week for the past 5 years who also were her friends and her Deerbrook family. We are so grateful to all of you.
A visitation for Angela will be held Friday, July 29, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338. A rosary service will occur Friday, July 29, 2022 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338. A funeral mass will occur Saturday, July 30, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. James Catholic Church, 22800 Aldine Westfield Rd., Spring, TX 77373. A graveside service will occur Saturday, July 30, 2022 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338.
