Angelita was a devout Catholic and made sure her family lived by those values of faith and compassion. Her greatest joys were spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and cooking for the people she cared about. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to dance to Tejano/Conjunto songs. Angelita had a keen mind and spent many hours doing jigsaws and word puzzles during her free time.
Angelita is survived by her children, Beatriz Pereda, Pedro Alfredo Anzaldua Jr. and wife Alberta, Maria Alicia Anzaldua and husband Jesus, Gina Oksenhoff and husband Richard, Patricia Trujillo and husband David, and Larry Anzaldua; 18 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; siblings, Soledad Silva, Ramon Castillo, Petra Castillo, Janie Saenz, Jesse Castillo, and Pepe Castillo.
Angelita was preceded in passing by her beloved husband Pedro Alfredo Anzaldua Sr., parents Ramon and Angelita Castillo, and siblings Lilia Gonzales, Lucia Davila, Ramona Castillo, Lupita Castillo, Juanita Castillo, and Joe Castillo.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. til 7:00 p.m. inside the Chapel of Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 21723 Aldine Westfield Road, Humble, Texas 77338. The Funeral Mass will be held in Angelita's honor at St. James Catholic Church. 22800 Aldine Westfield Road, Spring Texas 77373, after which she will be escorted to the Calvary Hill Cemetery to be reunited with her beloved husband.
