

Barbara was born in Concordia, Kansas, on November 5, 1948. She graduated from high school in Idaho Springs, Colorado. After graduation she served in the U. S. Army until her discharge when she enrolled in college at Fort Hays State University. She graduated from college then transferred to Spring, Texas where she worked in the oil and gas industry until her retirement.
She is preceded in death by her father, Ted Rodgers; stepfather, Art Kenworthy; and son, Larry Ely. Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Dorothy Kenworthy; husband, Ron Campbell; his daughters, Amy Haverlah and Shelby Ringering; grandsons, Corbin and Tyler Haverlah, Brandon, Patrick, Sam, Noah, Jake, and Josh Ringering; granddaughter, Faith Ringering, and sister-in-law, Ronda Baird. Barbara’s siblings include brothers, Jim Rodgers, John Rodgers, Arthur Kenworthy Jr, Curtis Rodgers; sisters, Lori Kenworthy, and Kay Beagle; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Barbara’s organizations and activities include Alumni of Fort Hays University, Daughters of the American Revolution, Society of Petroleum Engineers, Veteran of Foreign Wars, American Legion Auxiliary, Houston Museum of Natural Science, United States Bowling Association, Ancestry, and Saint James Catholic Church.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 27th, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 21723 Aldine Westfield Road in Humble. Also in the chapel, the funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, November 28th, at 10:00 a.m. and will be immediately followed by the Rite of Committal in Calvary Hill Cemetery. At the conclusion of the committal, a reception will be held in the Fellowship Hall of St. James the Apostle Catholic Church, 22800 Aldine Westfield Rd in Spring.
