I call her Aint Liz. I didn’t know her name was Bertha until I was grown. I have so many memories of her, because I grew up around her. Me and my cousins grew up like brothers and sisters, and Aint Liz was one of our many parents. I learned from her to be the best you can be at whatever you do. She is a shining example of a Daughter, Sister, Auntie, Mother, Eastern Star, and an amazing woman. She was always there for her family with a smile and words of encouragement, I loved to hear her laugh. I love you Aint Liz, you will always live in my heart. Thank you for loving me like your own child.

To my cousins Carla and Anthony. I had the opportunity to talk with you both a while back and know that you both know GOD and have found comfort in all the decisions he has made for your life. Aunt Bertha has raised two strong individuals. In her walk with GOD she knows that you both are doing well. Continue to walk in faith and let GOD continue to direct your path. Looking forward to the memories we will share together.
