Bobbi graduated from Chamblee High School in Chamblee, Georgia in 1958 and went on to marry Roy Yeager on August 18, 1961. Their union produced three children, Mark, Lee and Lisa. Roy and Bobbi were married for 58 years until Roy’s passing in 2020.
Bobbi was a full-time Mom from 1962-1976. When her youngest child began elementary school, she began working at that same elementary school, Hirsch Elementary, as a teacher’s aide. A few years later she decided to start her own business, BJ’s Typing Services. She always had a love for typing and she was very good at it. She consistently and accurately typed 70 words per minute on her IBM Selectric III typewriter typing resumes, contracts, etc. Her workday mostly consisted of her using her skills to type school papers and essays for her children and all of their friends. After closing her business a few years later, she began working at the Spring Independent School District Administration Building, where she remained until retirement.
In her spare time, Bobbi enjoyed league nights at Diamond Bowl as a member of the Pink Panthers bowling team. She loved anything and everything that was sports related, whether it was an event on TV or watching her children at their various sporting events. Bobbi also liked hosting weekend poker parties and weekend getaways to the casino in Lake Charles with family and friends. Going on cruises became a love of Bobbi’s during her retirement years.
Bobbi’s magnetic personality, sense of humor, likeability & kindness will be missed by all who knew her.
