

Charles Dene Snowden (Charlie) died peacefully at home on Sunday, December 30, 2012, after a lengthy illness. Born on September 13, 1950 in Austin, TX, he lived most of his life in Houston. During his illness his family was a continuous source of love, support, and compassion. He is survived in this life by his loving wife Jackie and a large immediate and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his only child, son Bradford Cass, his parents Gene and Wynama Snowden, his twin brother Ernie Snowden and sister-in-law, Charlotte Holder. The family wishes to extend heartfelt appreciation to Oncologist, Dr. Linus Ho and his team of professionals at M D Anderson for the excellent care and sincere encouragement he received throughout his illness.
Jackie wishes to thank her 3 wonderful sisters Annie, Mary and Lisa for their unwavering support during this journey. They have always been prepared and willing to do anything needed. Especially Annie, who went beyond what was asked of her every day. She and her husband Bruce had a close and loving bond with Charlie. Jackie wants to thank as well, her associates at Ferguson Enterprises who generously gave the gift of time to spend with Charlie. Specifically Michael Payne, Chris Couvillion, Tony Prisock, Trey Hale, Richey Stansifer, and most especially Brent Thomas.
To celebrate the life of this special unique and loving man, funeral services will be held Friday, January 4, 2013 at 11am located at Calvary Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 21723 Aldine Westfield Rd., Humble, TX 77338.
