Clara J. Ware

Clara is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, James Henry Ware, brother Raymond Ross, and three sisters, Edna Thompson, Philamena (Mary) Kieffer, Gina (Jeanette) Mayer.

Clara was a member of St James the Apostle Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading, traveling, dancing, shopping and spending time with family and friends. She will be fondly remembered for her love of family, sense of style and sense of humor.

Clara is survived by her sister, Sarah (Ramona) Key and her children, son, James (Victoria) Ware and daughters, Ann (John) Shirley, Gina (Mark) Kohlschmidt, and Mary (Alan) Lewis. Eleven grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at St James Catholic Church, located at 22800 Aldine Westfield Rd, Spring, Texas, 77373, on August 25, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Following the Celebration of Life, a Committal Service will take place at Houston National Cemetery, located at 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, Texas, 77038, on August 25, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
