Claudene Wright Martin

Claudene Wright Martin - “MEMA” was born on March 6th, 1930 in Leona, Texas to Floyd and Beatrice Wright and passed away at Park Manor of Cypress Station in Houston Texas on January 5th, 2017 at the age of 86.

Claudene is preceded in rest by her parents, and her loving husband Emmett Martin. Claudene had six siblings, Wayne Wright (entered into rest), Leatrice Ashby, Weldon Wright (entered into rest), Joe Wright (entered into rest), Evelyn (Sue) Herzik, & Beverly Leonard.

Claudene was blessed with two children, Gary & wife Karen Martin, Kimmy & wife Patricia Martin and ex daughter in law, Sandy Vacek; her grandchildren Nicki & Don Stubbs – Atascocita, TX, Jana & Deanna Martin – San Antonio, TX , Brandon & Kimberly Martin – Huntsville, TX, Andrew Martin – Spring, TX, Cody & Amanda Martin – Conroe, TX, Dawn Martin – Spring, TX, Logan Berry – Baytown, TX, & Mariah Pool – Baytown, TX; and her great grandchildren Braeden Stubbs, Holden Stubbs, Bradyn, Caleb Martin, Joshua Martin, Carter Martin, Brooklynn Martin, and Addison Martin; Ronnie & Patty, Jim & Bobby, Mark & Denise, Jeff & Lori, and Jean; Karen Herzik (entered into rest) and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and extend family. She loved her family and was an amazing caretaker. She will be missed by all who knew her and her memory will be treasured forever.

Visitation for Claudene Wright Martin will be held on Tuesday, January 10th, 2017 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm in the Chapel at Calvary Hill Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 11th, 2017 at 11:00am at Houston National Cemetery.
