Colten Tucker Carey, 47, returned to the Lord, Saturday, September 22, 2012 in Brownsville, TX after a long battle against complications from diabetes. Colten was born 22 December 1964 at Huntington, WV. Colten was a 1983 graduate of Spring High School. He later attended the University of Baltimore where he studied accounting. Colten worked for many years as a restaurant manager for Jimmy G’s and for the Magnolia Bar and Grill. Colten is survived by partner Eduardo A. Morales “Mike,” mother, Susanne W. Carey; three brothers, Tim (Pam), Justin (Denise), and Shayne (Hannah); four nieces Chelsea, Chloe, Kahyla, and Brooke Hayden; and one nephew, Justin Jr. Colten was preceded in death by his father Dudley.Flowers will be received or donations may be sent to the National Diabetes Foundation. Services will be held at 11AM on Friday 28 September at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, Humble, TX. Visitation with family members and friends will be Thursday 27, September from 5-9pm
