Dennis Earl Bloedel

In loving memory of our father, Dennis Earl Bloedel, who passed away on May 18th, 2023. He was the devoted husband of Susan Marie Bloedel for 47 years until her passing in 2020. He was also a loving father of 5 children, Chris Bloedel, Ryan Bloedel, Alison Bloedel Spruill, Emily Bloedel, and Ness Bloedel, and grandfather to 9 grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Dennis was born in Long Beach, CA on April 18th, 1943. He lived and grew up there with his parents, Earl and Ruth Bloedel and his younger sister, Diane. He graduated from Long Beach Polytechnic High School and received and engineering degree from Cal Poly University at Pomona. Straight from college he went to work for Texaco and stayed there for 31 years until his retirement.

One of the most giving souls on this planet, our father worked tirelessly to ensure that his family had everything they needed. He sacrificed so much for us and taught us the importance of family and hard work with admirable strength and courage.

Dad, you are now at peace and will live on forever in our hearts. We love you so much.

We will not be having a funeral or services per his request.
