Working with Deodrick was like a breath of fresh air. He set goals of being where he was suppose to be, when he was suppose to be there. On that we could agree.
To his wife and sons, you were number one and caring for you was his delight. I will keep you in my prayers.
Gone but not forgotten.

I remember the day you met Deodrick. We were on the phone like always and you were like girl I met this guy and I told you to go for it because he would be the one to make you the happiest. Sure enough, he did. My deepest condolences that you have to go through this but I know he is still with you all. My continuous prayers of strength and healing for all of his family especially you and the boys.

I was deeply saddened to hear of your husband's passing, Vernita. I will be praying for you and your children during this most difficult time. May he rest in peace with the Lord. I pray the Lord helps you all find peace and comfort in the memories you all shared. God bless.

I had the immense pleasure to work with Deodrick at Trimac. From the very beginning, he always had a smile on his face and he was such a positive man in what can be a very frustrating industry. I will miss chatting with him and I will miss that grin of his. I'll even miss him rubbing it in how much better the Cowboys are than the Texans. He took time to chat with anyone and everyone, and had a great reputation as a reliable driver and as an overall great man. He valued family, hard work, and he loved to laugh. He will be dearly missed by all of those who had the opportunity to see the light he had to shine on the world.
Stay shining in heaven, Deodrick. Stay shining.

Rest in peace.
