Dorothy Mae Lewis Murray was born on January 20, 1931 in Sugarland, Texas. She was one of twelve children born to Rev. Isom Lewis and Mabel Lewis. Dorothy have her life to God at an early age and continued through her 89 years. She was a faithful missionary and a great cook! She loved to read the bible daily and prayed over her family daily. She loved to sing her gospel songs and went fishing every day! She wore so many hats helping others and abiding by God's word. She was a hard worker and she completed high school at Carver in the Aldine school district. Dorothy was a grand servant of the Lord. She was a member of God's True Church, with Pastor R. Booker. She was a staple in our family that kept us together. Her father was a Mason and her mother was a member of the Eastern Star of Houston, Texas.
She was preceded in passing by her father Isom, mother Mabel, grandson Charles, son Wilford, and all of her brothers and sisters. She leaves to mourn her Aunt T Lewis of Oakland, California.
