Edmond Lynn Persky

Edmond Lynn Persky, 71, of Houston, Texas, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023.Ed was born July 25, 1952. He grew up in Home Owned Estates, a suburb in Northeast Houston. He attended North Shore High School before enlisting in the Navy where he served on the USS Kittyhawk during the Vietnam War.

He spent many years working in apartment maintenance until he his health failed. The last few years he lived at the Villas of Woodforest where he made many friends.

Ed enjoyed baking and barbequing and sharing food with friends and family. When not whipping up his favorite recipes, he loved playing video games with his grandchildren.

He leaves behind a daughter, Angela Renee McDaniel, seven grandchildren: Alyssa Ashley Onnela, Justin Andrew McDaniel, Quince Luther (Luke) McDaniel and Skyler Timothy McDaniel, Faith Annette Starnes, ReAnna Rae McGinty, Xander Lynn McDaniel and several great-grandchildren. Brothers: Thomas Ray Persky and Howard Stanley Persky. Sister: Jonna Dee Smith.

He is preceded by: parents, Miles and Lillian Persky and daughter, Kimberly, brother Richard Persky.

Per his wishes, he will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 6511 Uvalde Road, Houston, Texas 77049 on October 21, 2023 at 1PM.
