Francis was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and is survived by her loving husband Antonio Rojo Atencio of 42 years, sons; Orlando Atencio and
Anthony Atencio, grandchildren; Andre Atencio, Anthony Atencio, Jr., Ari Atencio and Andrew Atencio, Mother Elena Choing Morrell, sisters; Xiomara Perez Elliott and Margarita Perez Choing, brother; Juan Perez Choing and niece Vanessa Elliott.
Antonio and Francis met in Cuba when they were children and later reunited in New York where they began their journey in life together.
Francis had a huge giving heart and was the rock for the entire family. She worked as a child care provider, she was loved by the children and their parents as she treated them as her own. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, shopping, cooking and surrounding herself with her family. Her smile, the sound of her laughter that ignited a room and the need to take care of and cook for her family will truly be missed.
